Meet Corky!
Are you looking for a sweet and devoted little dog to share you life with? Look no further...Corky is the dog for you! He is crate-trained, potty trained, good with other dogs ... doesn't seem to mind little kids and babies either.
On days when you find yourself bored with nothing to do, you can rely on Corky to bring you his favorite toy and try to engage you in a good game of Tug-O-War or fetch if you throw it for him. He's a smart little guy that catches on quickly to commands. With some additional time spent teaching him tricks he will be an even more fun dog than he already is! He enjoys a nice walk or going on car rides so he can take in all the new smells and revel in the presence of your company at the same time!
When Corky picks you as his person you will have the most devoted companion that you could ask for. He lives to please and just wants to be your best buddy! He loves to be a part of whatever it is you are doing…if you are watching TV and just relaxing, you can count on Corky to be next to you either sleeping or asking for you to pet him (he will also try to work his way onto your lap if you allow him to). He is a real snuggle-bug and will sleep with you in bed or cuddle up to you wherever you are just to be close to you.
If you work full time, he would prefer to have a doggie buddy to keep him company during the day as he will surely miss you while you're away…a buddy will help him get through the long day until you get home.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
