Mocha just arrived from a high kill shelter in Missouri. Her future was bleak at this shelter, because they do not adopt out dogs. If they are not claimed by their owners, they are put to sleep. MARS was able to rescue Mocha just in the nick of time. This poor little baby was scheduled to be euthanized on Sat, Aug 15th.

Mocha is just a tiny puppy. She may be a boxer mix, and is quite skinny. She is avery sweet, innocent puppy and doesn't deserve a fate like that. She is now in a loving foster home in Minnesota. Could you be his forever home? Please help if you can, there are many more dogs waiting at this same shelter for help, and we have a limited number of foster homes.

UPDATE FROM MOCHA'S FOSTER: Mocha likes to play with all of the toys we have here, there are none that she will not play with. Definitely a puppy, chews on everything. She has only had a couple of accidents inside. We have decided to take her out often so that she learns quickly. Mocha, as we call her, is very energetic and has taught my two little dogs that they want to stay away if they do not want to play. Although the littler dogs are not her biggest fans, my boxer plays with her often.

Mocha seems not to prefer anyone in particular, she is equally loving to all of my family members. I am not sure if at this time I would recommend small children because of her energetic puppy stage. She is nippy and jumping and we are busy working on that. Her chewing is easily controled with raw hide, bones and toys.....Except, she did think the cat was a chew toy this morning!
