Cecil is searching for his forever home!!!!!

Cecil just arrived on a transport from a high kill shelter in Missouri. The shelter does not adopt out animals, so if their families don't come get them, their future is grim. MARS was able to save Cecil, and he is now in Minnesota in a temporary foster home. He still needs a more permanent foster home while we look for his forever home.

Cecil is all cleaned up, vetted, and ready to find his forever home! Will it be with you?

NOTE FROM CECIL'S FOSTER:
Cecil is an amazing dog. He loves to follow you everywhere, whether it's to the bathroom or to the kitchen! He isn't overly hyper. He loves playing with the resident German Shepherd... they will chase each other in the yard for hours.

He is ok on the leash, we are working on that one along with his other basic commands. He is great with kids and loves to give kisses. He likes teasing the resident cat...he will look at is and start chasing it but as soon as the cat starts to run he stops and comes back to us.

He loves meeting new people and will get a little excited and jump but not on you. When he jumps he balances on his back feet, it is really cute, we are working on no jumping too. He is just a really sweet and adorable guy. His pictures don't do him justice! He doesn't like being alone and will cry for you when you leave! He will be an amazing addition to someone's family!

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
