Description:
Meet Bailey! Bailey is such a sweet little girl! She is mild mannered and loves to snuggle. Bailey is very inquisitive and responds in the cutest way when you talk to her. Her head will tip back and forth as if she is following every word. She also loves to watch dog shows on TV -especially when puppies are featured. She is a captive audience! Bailey gets along with cats and dogs of all sizes. She can be startled at loud noises so a quieter environment would be wonderful for this deserving girl. A home with another dog and a fenced yard is recommended for Bailey. Update from the foster home: Bailey really is the sweetest girl. Although she’s only been with me a week, she’s adjusted quickly. Bailey is really good at two things: sleeping and sniffing. She loves to go outside and sniff EVERYTHING. If she catches whiff of a squirrel or a rabbit, she howls and moves faster than I thought this old gal could. The first couple of days, she refused to go for walks, but now she’s walking quite nicely. When we’re indoors, Bailey loves napping on soft blankets. I kenneled her once, but she didn't seem to be a big fan of this experience. However, when I leave, she’s napping in her kennel and when I come she’s still napping in the kennel. I suppose she likes the option of leaving… She’s housebroken, so I don’t have to worry about accidents while she’s left to roam the apartment. Bailey rides in the car well. She’s interested in what’s going on outside and her tail wags enthusiastically as she looks out the window. Bailey is extremely timid at first. She seems to be very apprehensive about walking through doors. However, a small piece of hot dog will have her through the door in no time. She gets along well with other dogs. She and my dog became pals right away. She’s very low-key and because of this does NOT like loud noises. I think she may do best in quiet household, perhaps with another low-key dog. Please help Bailey enjoy her twilight years! She certainly deserves it! Please fill out an application by clicking on the link below, if you have room in your heart and home for sweet Bailey. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
