Harvey is such a happy pup! He plays great with our resident 2 yr old cattle dog mix. I'm pretty certain he thinks he is part jackrabbit! The way he can spring up from a static position is amazing. Agility would be great for him!
He really wants to please us and genuinely feels sorry is he gets in trouble. Even my 5 year old is able to correct him and get him to sit :) He has learned to sit, and is working very hard at laying down and coming when called. Inside it's a no brainer, but sometimes things just smell too good when outdoors and he just can't quite hear me. We went to the dog park and he played well with every dog, and wow.. He is fast!
He sleeps in bed with us and with such great manners. Harvey doesn't even wake us up until the alarm goes off. He is housbroken & goes right to the door when he needs to go out. Every once in a while Harvey has a hard time remembering what are his toys, and what are shoes. But a careful eye and a verbal correction if an easy fix. I think he would do best with someone who has another dog to keep him busy.
PS: He's an amazing cuddle bug too =)

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.
