Fun things I do: Conrad LOVES snuggling. Any time you are sitting on the couch, he will  quickly snuggle up next to you. Often, he’ll roll over on his back for some belly rubs. He adores  people and wants to see what you’re up to. He enjoys playing fetch with whatever toy looks  interesting. Mostly, he loves doing activities with you.

Activity Level: Medium. He LOVES going on daily walks. Walks around the neighborhood let  Conrad sniff out what the squirrels are up to and meeting new people. While he certainly has  beagle energy, he doesn’t have the typical beagle howl. Instead he rarely barks, and when he  does, it’s usually at a bunny in the yard.

Commands / Tricks: In her foster home, Conrad is working on name recognition, "sit", “down”  (as in “lay down”), and walking nicely on a leash. He is highly motivated by yummy treats.  Also, because he’s very interested in what you’re doing, he often comes when called, even when  he’s outside.

Crate / Potty Trained: Yes to both! While the foster is away, Conrad hangs out in the kitchen  with full view of the pesky squirrels out the patio door, and typically sleeps in his open crate  with no problems. He has been occasionally marking, so while home, the fosters let him outside  every few hours. This behavior will likely subside after he’s fixed (which will happen the week  of March 4th). Conrad hasn’t had any accidents while they are gone, which is around 9 hours on  a work day.

Socialization / who I currently live with: We don't know anything about his original owners, but  Conrad is being fostered by an adult male and female. For his first week, he was fostered with a  young beagle mix. The two of them played constantly! He is also fantastic with kids. Conrad
loves everyone who will give him love and attention.

My Ideal Family: Conrad is looking for a loving family who will bring him along on their  activities. Owners who are familiar with hounds are a plus! Conrad will fit well in almost all  households.
