Cooper came from a busy house with very active young children - it was just too much for him. He prefers a calmer setting where he can relax in his dog bed or by your side on the sofa.  Cooper also enjoys taking a break by resting his head on his foster's slippers.  He is a quiet dog, but has a very happy disposition.

Cooper bonds quickly to his person & will follow you around.  He will go into a crate to take a break, but it isn't necessary to crate him - he doesn't get in trouble.

Cooper enjoys playing with other dogs and loves sniffing around his foster home's fenced yard.  In fact he would probably be pretty happy to have another dog around to keep him company!  He walks well on a leash & also enjoys playtime at the dog park.  

Foster Update 10/21:

Coop is one cute guy! He loves to play with other dogs, in that cute down doggie  tease position that says “Bring it on!” He bounds after his throw toy with joyful abandon, returning it to us  again and again. He is so quiet, hardly ever barking. He rides in the car very sweetly,  calmly sleeping or looking out the window. He is house trained, and walks so politely on a leash.

His underbite distinguishes him from all others. He sits at the door and waits patiently for his leash and wants to stay near you.  He is a delightful young lad looking for a home where he can trust you will be there for him.  He would be best with no kids or older kids and another dog to goof around with. He is a great visitor, respecting other homes and feels comfortable gadding about, socialing. A pretty amazing guy, this Coop!  Formally known as Mr. Cooper.
