Meet Matson
*Good with kids *Housetrained *Snuggly but puppy playful! *Great with other dogs Mason is crate trained, "kennel up" works every time and sleeps in the crate at night without protest. Mason lives with two adult humans, a female adult dog, a 6 year old and an infant. He is very respectful of everyone's space. He still has some skiddish tendencies, but has become more outgoing and settles in with women faster than men. Mason hardly ever barks, and responds well to correction. He even smiles! While he may wander if a gate is left open, he'd rather stay close and has never "bolted". Mason needs to start practicing on leash because he hasn't had much experience. He currently gets lots of playtime exercise hunting for bugs and darting around the yard with his other dog buddies. He hasn't been around cats, but his dog etiquette is great. Mason is potty trained, but he won't bark or cry to go out, so it's up to his human to make him go when he needs to. He'd love to be a lap dog if you let him, but he also is full of energy during playtime and likes to chase stuffed toys if you toss for him. Even though he's all grown up, he's a puppy in size and at heart. Despite his initial fear of people, his trust is growing all the time. He's a happy guy! Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
