Meet Gerald
*Housetrained *Good with dogs Notes from Gerald's foster parents: Gerald is very good with our granddaughters who are 7 & 10 and would do fine in a house with older children that know how to handle a small dog. Gerald loves wrestling with his foster brothers and we believe would do fine in a house with other dogs. He has never been tested with cats but he sure loves to chase squirrels so we don’t know if he would do the same with a cat(s)! His foster dad takes him on walks/runs up to four miles long with one or both of our dogs and he loves it. He would make a wonderful running partner or snuggle buddy! Gerald also loves to warm the sofa laying right next to his fosters on the couch. He is completely housetrained and does not need to be crated when you are gone, although he does enjoy his crate also! Gerald has been with us for awhile and deserves a forever home. Please consider adopting him. We will miss him because he is such a sweet loving boy, but all we want for him is to find his forever home. Do you have room in your home and heart for this little one? *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
