Description:
Eden is a 2 year old black and tan min pin with a docked tail and natural ears. She is a little bit chubby and could lose some weight. She is very athletic and currently eating Evo Weight Management so it will come off in no time. Eden loves other dogs and loves her people. She is a big cuddle bug. Eden is kennel trained and house trained. She is working on her leash training at the moment....she likes to pull a bit. *Update* Eden walks wonderfully on a leash now. She just had to learn how. She also makes a great rollerblading partner as you can see by the last photo. Eden recently arrived in her foster home and we are just getting to know her. She is a friendly, happy, mellow girl. She's been very well behaved with no issues so far. She gets super excited when it's time to go for a walk. She also loves to take naps. Eden loves to go for car rides and she's a great passenger. She's getting along wonderfully with all the other dogs in her foster home. Eden is easy to groom. She had a bath and nail trim without any problems. Stay tuned for more updates soon. Eden continues to be a dream in her foster home. She was storm tested last night and passed with flying colors. Storms don't bother her in the least. She really has no bad habits. No separation anxiety, no resource guarding and she is great with kids of all ages. She is so sweet and gentle with everyone she meets, not shy at all. Eden would easily fit in to any home. Eden loves the dog park. She is very well-behaved and trust-worthy. We couldn't ask for a nicer foster girl. We took all the dogs yesterday and they were all in doggie heaven! Eden likes to explore but does come when we call her (within the fenced in dog park). She seems overly interested in a couple of chipmunks living in our yard. For this reason I believe she would require a physical fence in her forever home. If you don't have a fence you would have to be committed to daily walks or visits to the dog park. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
