Missy is a great dog. If I had one word to describe her it would be HAPPY! I honestly can’t imagine why someone would give this precious girl up. She is happy all the time and adores everyone. She is still a young pup so enjoys her walks and playtime with the resident dog. In fact, I think she gets her confidence from following him around (and we’ve enjoyed having Missy around to tire him out!).
She is 100% housetrained and is working on some basic commands. She is very smart so it’s been easy to teach her new things. We don’t crate her at night, only when we aren’t at home. Missy is your typical border collie pup- loves to be social, play outside, and chew on her toys in the house. She has a good amount of energy, but if she gets a good walk or run and some play time she is very calm in the house and will snuggle right up to you while you watch TV. Missy would love a home with another dog or some kids to play with her. She is such a sweetie, I know she will nuzzle into the heart of anyone who meets her. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
