Meet Charm! She sure lives up to her name! She loves people and loves to cuddle! We are still working on potty training with her. She loves walks and is doing well walking on a leash. While we were at a large off leash dog park, she never went out of our sight and would repeatedly come back to our sides to check in. She knows “come” and “spin” but has not quite mastered sit. She is very quick to bond and has already adapted to our schedule. She prefers to be right next to us and is our shadow while we’re home! She does not like the kennel and is vocal about it, but her bark and whine are not very loud and our neighbors have said nothing so far. She LOVES car rides and wants to go on errands with us. She isn’t the biggest fan of toys but loves chews, her favorite being pig ears. Her and the resident dog get along fine, but she is more interested in the humans in her pack than other dogs. She is OBSESSED with kids, I really think she’d be happiest in a family with little ones. We just left the dog park, and there was a 5 year old boy there, she got pets and hugs from the whole time. They left before us and she cried when he left! Any family would be lucky to have this little lady! Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
