Description:

My name is Balla, short for Ballerina. I am only 8 weeks old, so I'm not graceful on my feet like a Ballerina. But I will be! If you are looking for a confident puppy, I am the one for you. I love to play with my foster brother - who is much larger than me. But I don't care. I love to pull on his tail and wrestle with him all day. When I am not acting like a tough gal, I am begging my foster parents to hold me. I make a cute little grunting sound when they pick me up. They say it's so pathetic, it's cute! I would agree. I'm just happy to be around humans. I have a nice soft shiny coat that keeps me warm outside. I love to run around outside, even when it's cold! I don't care. I like all the space to run and play! I prefer to go potty outside too - though sometimes I still have a few accidents. I am just a puppy after all! I also have much better manners than my sister. I don't really play bite humans. I know better - they feed me food! And let me tell you - I love to eat! I think I will be a big girl like my mom. Since I will be big, I am looking for a forever home that will love me when I am cute and small - and love me when I'm big. My foster mom tells me I will need a "strong pack leader", whatever that means. I just need someone to show me the ropes and teach me how to be a well mannered dog....and give me lots of love!

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
