Meet Jack,

Jack is a small, friendly, seven year old Yorkipoo. He loves to play with squeak toys and often carries them around in his mouth. He is good with dogs and cats. (he has lived with a cat all his life). He is also fond of children and enjoys greeting them and sitting on their laps. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. He loves 'treats' and will dance around anticipating them. Jack is not fond of thunderstorms and fireworks. We have been going on daily walks about town and he is thrilled to meet so many people to experience new smells! His small, stubby tail is always wagging and he is so happy all of the time. He rides well in the car and rarely barks. He is eleven inches tall at the shoulder so he is a tiny thing!. Jak likes having people around for company and he would prefer a family that spends time at home with him.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
