Baroness (Bari) is a young Shepherd and a total sweetheart. This little girl was found as a stray, but she loves living in a house with lots of soft places to rest. She knows sit, shake, lay down and is working on roll over. She does well left alone in her kennel. She needs some leash manners, but she’s very smart and eager to learn. Bari loves people and is a typical Velcro dog, following her people everywhere. She’s doing great with the resident dog and follows his lead on most things. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed in the bedroom and jumps up into bed with the humans for morning snuggles. We don’t know how she is with cats or kids.
Bari will be a great dog for someone!
When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
