Meet Mesta!

Mesta is a puppy mill release. We are looking for a loving forever home for him. He truely deserves to finally live the good life!

Mesta comes up with these great vocalizations when he wants to get his point across, usually when he's being lively and playful or not getting enough attention! The other side to Mesta's very stable temperament is a very calm and laidback couch potato who loves to cuddle up. He loves all the comforts of home, gets along well with our other pets too,
and would be good family pet or delightful companion.

He has a beautiful face and coat, complete with mane, but he is definitely on the larger size for a Tibbie. Along with his larger than usual size comes bags full of charm and personality. Mesta is a real people dog and positively thrives on human companionship. He is good natured, highly sociable, outgoing, and loves everyone. In fact, he needs to be with his people and does not like to be left alone. He can show some separation anxiety in the form of barking when left alone, so a home where his people can be with him most of the time and a canine playmate to romp with would be best for him.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
