Meet Chrisley Chrisley is a super girl that was found as a stray and left unclaimed at a shelter. She is fully house trained and kennel trained, so much so, that on occasion when her fosters have asked her to kennel, she has gone over opened the unlocked door herself and let herself in. She loves to be outside, and does well on a walk or a tie out, Of course she is a beagle mix so she follows her nose. She loves to play tug of war with her toys and will fetch toys that are thrown and bring them back to play some more. She loves to look out the window and watch the world, but only occasionally gets excited enough to bark at something or someone that she sees. Chrisley will take a minute to warm up and like most of us prefers not to have people in her face until she is very comfortable with her people. We would prefer her home to not have small children as they sometimes do not understand personal space. She is the dog in charge so any dog she lives with would need to be ok with that. She would like to be your only dog so you can dote on her and only her. She has not lived with cats. Are you the one Chrisley is looking for?
When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
