Meet Godiva!

Godiva is one spunky gal! She can hold her own with a terrier twice her size. She loves to play, with people and dogs, and can’t get enough of the outdoors. She runs and runs, and demonstrates amazing turns, rolls and puppy tumbles. Her shiny, silky black coat shimmers in the sunlight. She knows her limits and will roll on her back when the play gets a bit rough. Then up she pops, ready to go again.

Godiva is learning to sit for her treats and meals. She is working on her potty training, and needs a supportive family and consistent schedule to be successful at this.

She sleeps thru the night and wakes up ready to fully embrace the day. Godiva is a happy, loving and gorgeous young pup, full of life and love. She is fine with hanging out on your lap for a bit, until her inquisitive nature sends her on her next exploration. Godiva makes me laugh each and every day. You can’t help but smile at her antics. She brings joy to everyone who experiences the wonder of the world through her youthful approach to this new world of wonders.

*Note- puppies this age should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with housetraining and socialization.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
