Meet Otis!

Otis is just the sweetest boy you'll meet. He just loves to cuddle and be close to his person. Otis just arrived in rescue, and is settling in to his foster home. Now he will begin the search for his forever home. Will that be with you?

A NOTE FROM HIS FOSTER HOME:

Otis is really a loving little fellow! He wants nothing more than to be with his person, preferably on a lap! He smiles and hugs everyone in the family! It's very sweet!

Otis is really into his toys. He has chewed his way through rawhide bones, and loves his red kong!

Otis loves to go for his daily walks, and he LOVES to be outside in the yard! He totally enjoys the snow. He digs, he tunnels, he rolls in it! He loves to chase his toys outside, and could play fetch for
hours if someone would throw a ball that long!

Otis is really a smart dog! He knows where his basket of toys is. He knows the command to "kennel up." He knows how to ask to go out. (He was NOT house broken when he arrived, now he only tinkles when he gets scared or excited.) With time and consistent attention, Otis will learn all sorts of commands and will quickly adjust to the rituals and routines of a new home!

We really love Otis! We feel thankful that we have given him a transitional home - he's already learned so much! We really hope that Otis finds a wonderful forever home! He is a loving animal who deserves a family that can give all of the attention he needs!

***Due to unforseen family cicumstances Otis needs a new foster home as soon as possible. Won't you please consider giving him that love and attention he so needs and desires?

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.

If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
