Description:
Hi there!! My foster mom calls me Katie. The first thing you need to know about me is I have great recall! I have been to a dog park and, boy, was that fun:) I had fun with both the big and small dogs. The only time I don't listen is when I am running and playing with the dogs. But when I'm done, I immediately look to see where you are and return as called or just show up. I definitely liked the pond at the park. I would describe myself as a happy girl who has a lot of lab traits (of course that came from mom-what's a lab?). I love attention and belly rubs especially when you first wake up in the morning. I have learned how to use my paws to get petted or to get your attention to throw the ball. I like balls, sticks and bones. I can entertain myself as well as play fetch with you. My favorite toy is a rubber squeaky ball and I have figured out how to squeak it!! I like to go for walks and after a 3 mile walk, I still have energy to play ball. I believe I would like to go swimming this summer too. I am house and crate trained. I will cry to go outside and run to my kennel to get my kong. I pick up on routines and commands very quickly. Mom says I am very smart and I believe her. I am good with kids. I am also good with dogs when properly introduced. I love to play with my sister because she will chase me and wrestle. There is not enough space on my page to tell you all about my cute personality and what I have learned. So please fill out the adoption form so we can chat. P.S. I give kisses too:) Please click on the adoption button below to make me
yours! *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person! If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.
*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
