Portraits with Pets

Location: Oak Hill Park
Have you ever wanted to have a family portrait taken with your beloved pet? “Portraits With Pets” is an opportunity to have portraits taken of—and with—your pets. The entire $50 session fee (regular price is $100) from each photo session will be donated to MARS. These hour long sessions will take place the following two weekends in September: September 11 and 12 from 9 am–5 pm at Oak Hill Park in St. Louis Park. September 18 and 19 from 9 am–5 pm at Lake Harriet. All sessions need to be reserved in advance. Sessions are on a first call, first reserve basis. So call today to reserve your session—612-382-2867. For your convenience, your portraits will be available for online ordering.

Meet your best friend at the zoo

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Yes, at Como Zoo on the 18th you will be able to see all 3 kinds animals and many of Toto's too! Dogs of all different shapes, sizes and variety will be there. Come see some dogs from MARS, to find who you would like to lead down the yellow brick road. But, watch out for the flying monkeys!

MARS Rummage Sale

The kids are back in school. The nights are crisp and cool. What a perfect time to search and find a treasure just for you! Come and find new treasures at the MARS rummage sale from 9am-5pm that Saturday. If you would like to share your bounty from your fall cleaning projects, to be included in the sale, please call 763-503-4990 or email volunteer@midwestanimalrescue.org to arrange a time to drop them off at the MARS office. Household items, clean clothing, small furniture, jewelry, toys, books, CDs, tools, garage stuff, craft items, etc. Please NO TVs or computers, or large furniture. Thanks!
